Client: Cardthartic Greeting Cards
The challenge as an artist:
Creating a feeling or atmosphere that represents the sentiments of each card.
The challenge as a designer:
Making the cards legible in the digital space.
The solution:
Two styles were created to showcase the cards: 1) flat layouts with familiar objects that remind us of reasons to give and celebrate every day and 2) images of card recipients enjoying the warmth or humor that the card evokes. For both digital and print graphics, card text was enlarged for each image created. Graphics were created for the website, social media, catalog, sales collateral and trade show signage layout.

Client: Miami Arak Liqueurs
The challenge as an artist:
Showcase product flavors in a new and interesting way.
The challenge as a designer:
The client came to me with wildly creative ideas, some of them being a so creative they a little too far out to let the product shine.
The solution:
I love far out ideas because it really gives me permission to think outside of the box. I made adjustments to the client’s original concepts, adding intrigue without overpowering the product. Graphics and animations were created for the website, social media, recipe booklet and coasters.

LOGO & GARMENT TAG DESIGN
The challenge:
Create a logo and elements that say “recycled” and “soft,” while keeping a clean and airy style to match brand clothing line logos. The logo also needed to a recognizable brand mark for garment clothing tags.

Client: Sierra Club ICO (Inspiring Connections Outdoors)
The challenge:
As a volunteer with the Sierra Club ICO, I capture both photos and video of activities and nature’s details at a fast pace. Outings involve real people, not models. Large camera equipment is not ideal.
The solution:
Using an iPhone with a stabilizer is the best way to capture fast pace activities. Genuine interest and engagement with the kids makes them comfortable posing for the camera.
VIDEO
Goal: Recruit future volunteers to lead outings by highlighting the fun activities and local wildlife from past outdoor excursions.
